Our source hierarchy

For system rules we start with the accountable authority or mandated institute. For occupations we use official standards and careers services. Editorial explanation may make those sources easier to understand but must not remove authority or limitation.

• 4. Clearly labelled secondary source only as context.

What happens when sources conflict

We do not silently choose the most convenient claim. Editors check authority, market, date and any transition rule. Until resolved, the statement is limited or removed. Material changes trigger review and cache refresh for the affected language version.

• Inventory the conflict and affected pages.

• Resolve primary authority and scope.

• Document correction, date and impact.

• Review the translation separately rather than changing it blindly.
